Blepharitis is a common disorder of the eyelid margins that can cause irritation, inflammation, redness and lump formation of chalazia.  In most cases, however, good eyelid hygiene and regular cleansing can control it without the need to visit your GP or our team.

Yag Laser
Yag Laser treatment is required in about five percent of patients who have undergone cataract surgery. The membrane, which holds the artificial lens in place, can become cloudy and vision can deteriorate.  Treatment only takes a few minutes and is undertaken in our clinics in Harley Street and New Malden.

Age-related Macular Degeneration
Aged-related Macular Degeneration (AMD) is the leading cause of vision loss in older people.  It involves damage to the small area at the back of the eye called the macula giving rise to loss of central vision.  Treatment is given with an injection to the eye.
